Do you offer discounts for people with low incomes?

Every pet family should be able to access veterinary care, regardless of their income. That’s why Neighborhood Vet Care offers the Prevention and Wellness Program (PAW).

PAW is an income-based veterinary assistance program. Qualifying clients receive a 25 percent discount on all services and most medications (excluding flea/tick/heartworm prevention and prescription diets).

Clients must complete an application and provide proof of qualifying income.
* This program cannot be combined with other coupons or promotions.

How do I qualify?

To qualify for PAW, you must meet at least one of these criteria:

  • Head of household makes $25,000 annually or less as an individual.
  • Head of household makes $42,000 annually or less with dependents listed on tax forms.
  • Head of household must qualify for and provide proof of federal or state assistance.

What proof do you require?

You must provide a government-issued photo ID and one of the following:

  • W2, 1099, or completed tax statement
  • Four consecutive pay stubs (for individuals only).
  • Current letter of benefit for government assistance

How do I apply?

Fill out our simple application form.

Please submit your application at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. This is the only way to guarantee your application will be processed before your visit.

Proof of residential income must be provided once annually. It must be submitted along with personal ID by the head of household.
